iLoveAtheists.org is a free, non-commercial website. There are no accounts, no purchases, and no advertising. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any reason.

What we collect

1. Information you choose to give us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive whatever you send — typically your name, your email address, and your message. We use it only to read and respond to you.

2. Aggregate click counts. When you click a challenge on this site, we record that the page was clicked. This is used solely to rank the “Top 10 Challenges” list in the sidebar. These counts are aggregate and anonymized: we do not store your name, email address, or precise location, and the counts cannot be used to identify you.

3. Standard technical logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records basic technical information — such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and timestamps — for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We do not use these logs to build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies and tracking

We do not set advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party ad networks or cross-site tracking pixels. If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, this policy will be updated before it goes live.

How we use information

  • To understand which challenges visitors find most useful, so we can improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure and working.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your personal information.
  • We do not serve targeted advertising.
  • We do not build behavioral profiles of individual visitors.
  • We do not require you to create an account to read anything on this site.

Third-party links

This site links to external resources — Bible Gateway, apologist websites, book retailers, and others. Once you follow a link off this site, the privacy practices of that destination apply, not ours. We encourage you to review their policies.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention

Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable record of the conversation. Click counts are retained in aggregate form; they contain no personal identifiers.

Your choices

You may ask us at any time to delete a message you have sent us, or to confirm what we hold about you. Write to us at the address below and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted on the site.
