Acts 10:43
The context
Peter is speaking in the house of Cornelius, a Roman centurion, after a vision has overturned his assumptions about who may hear the message. His speech runs from verse 34 to verse 43 and is the first account of the Gospel given to a Gentile household. Verse 43 is its closing summary.
What it establishes
It establishes that Peter appealed to the whole prophetic corpus for the claim that forgiveness is received through the name of Jesus by everyone who believes. The scope of "everyone" is the point of the speech, which is why the Spirit's descent on Gentiles interrupts it.
What it does not establish
It does not name which prophets or which passages. Peter asserts a corporate witness without citing a text, and no list follows. Later Christian argument assembled the proofs; here the claim is made in a sentence and left to the hearers to test against what they knew.
